Kurtis Todd

The author of this book is not who you would expect.

Tattooed from his hands to his face — neck, bald head, beard, the works. An award-winning tattoo artist with 20+ years of experience and entrepreneur. Trains jiu-jitsu. Plays music. Married and a father to three beautiful children in Plant City, Florida.

He also walked a very dark path for a long time.

That kind of descent creates something — not automatically. The depth of the valley doesn't guarantee the height of the return. But it creates capacity. A potential that wasn't there before. What determines whether that potential becomes anything is what the person does with the pressure of it.

What he did was seek. Sincerely, relentlessly, and according to the best knowledge available to him. The desire that came out of that dark place wasn't mild or academic. It was the kind that doesn't let go — that cannot be satisfied by something halfway true or almost right. It had to be the real thing or nothing at all.

That desire became the engine. The discipline became the vehicle. What followed was a decade of reading and applying everything he could find — across physics, biology, quantum mechanics, philosophy, neuroscience, and ancient texts — not just consciously, absorbing it intellectually, but subconsciously, running it through his own system, living inside the questions until the answers stopped being abstract and started being structural.

In March 2015 he sat in a clinic in Sarasota while a neurologist mapped his brain and recorded amplitude readings seven times beyond the upper boundary of what human brains are observed to produce. The following years were spent doing what the investigation demanded — understanding, precisely and rigorously, what that meant and why it was possible.

This book is what that investigation found.

The ground expresses through whatever form is available. Not the expected ones. The ones that sincerely seek — according to knowledge.

Kurtis Todd, author of Infinitely Simple

Kurtis Todd is an independent researcher and author based in Plant City, Florida. He is the founder of KKAL Enterprises LLC and the author of the Infinitely Simple series.

His research spans quantum physics, systems biology, consciousness science, philosophy of mind, Christian theology, neuroscience, and ancient contemplative traditions — pursued independently over more than a decade and documented across two volumes.

In March 2015, a quantitative EEG recorded brain amplitude readings of 700+ microvolts during deliberately induced meditative states — approximately seven times the upper boundary of the normal human waking range. The session also documented anomalous inter-regional coherence patterns. The full record is available at infinitelysimple.org/brain-mapping.html.

He is married with three children and lives in Plant City, Florida.

Areas of Study & Research

Philosophy & Theology

First-principles reasoning, panentheistic metaphysics, Christian theology, philosophy of religion, ontology, and the nature of consciousness. Independent study across primary sources in Western and Eastern philosophical traditions.

Physics & Mathematics

Quantum foundations, cosmological fine-tuning, mathematical structure of physical reality, recursive architecture across physical scales. Study of works by Penrose, Wigner, Mandelbrot, and quantum relational theorists Spekkens, Brukner, and Schmid.

Consciousness & Neuroscience

The hard problem of consciousness (Chalmers), Integrated Information Theory (Tononi/Koch), clinical neurosurgery and consciousness (Egnor), cognitive science (Vervaeke), and brain mapping research. qEEG documentation of brain states recorded March 2015.

Biology & Systems Theory

Systems biology and top-down causation (Denis Noble), polyvagal theory and autonomic nervous system regulation, HeartMath Institute heart-brain coherence research, and the biological architecture of consciousness.
